My name is Katie Malionek I am 27 and have been working as a dog walker and in-your-home pet sitter for 9 years now. I have a background in positive reinforcement dog training and animal behavior, plus continued education in training, animal behavior, and welfare. I mostly worked with reactive dogs as a trainer. I am very comfortable with all personalities and sizes of dog, from hyper to couch potato, and Chihuahuas to Newfoundlands. I always carry healthy high quality treats (100% beef hotdogs, turkey) to redirect dogs if they are overstimulated by other dogs, kids etc. My specialty in training was leash walking because it can be the most overstimulating for reactive dogs. I am always happy to work on leash skills like pulling, so we can both enjoy our walks. In the past I have worked as a groomer's assistant and I have volunteered with all types of animal rescues such as, The Merrimack River Feline Rescue and The Guinea Pig Sanctuary. I have pet sat for dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, reptiles, fish, and chickens.
